Snohomish Health District has been notified of funding changes in the Washington Statement Department of Health Consolidated Contract Amendment #15, affecting the Tuberculosis Elimination, Lead Prevention, and WIC programs.
The TB Elimination program award is $82,481. This payment is the second and final installment in the 2020 budgeted revenue for the program.
The Lead Prevention program is awarded an additional $3,925 for work through 6/30/20. Unfortunately, with staff reassigned to COVID-19 work, most of the money will go unspent. DOH will not provide any further funding to the lead program after 6/30.
WIC funding remains the same through 6/30/20, although DOH has moved funding between program accounts in the contract amendment.
