| | | | | | | | | Background | Jim Welsh was appointed to the Public Health Advisory Council in 2016 representing the early childhood development sector. As executive director of ChildStrive, Mr. Welsh has made important and lasting contributions to the residents of Snohomish County with his unique perspective and understanding of public health and the health of our youngest residents. Mr. Welsh has accepted a position in California leading the Support For Families of Children With Disabilities organization (https://www.supportforfamilies.org/) and therefore is stepping off the PHAC. Chair Korey MacKenzie and Chair Elect Lisa George appreciate Mr. Welsh’s volunteer service on the PHAC and request the Board adopt Res. 21-03 to express their appreciation as well. |
