In October 2017, the Board of Health approved Res. 17-24 adopting its rules of procedure for the conduct of business of the Board. In February 2018, the Board adopted Res. 18-03 (Exhibit A) amending its rules of procedure to include telephonic participation of Board members.
Section VIII of the amended rules of procedure stipulate a periodic Board review with a recommendation that it be reviewed in January of odd-numbered years. The rules may be amended at any time the Board deems necessary.
At the January 7 Executive Committee meeting, Mr. Frederick suggested a small administrative correction: making the previous title of “administrator” consistent with the current title of “administrative officer,” and being consistent with the Board’s revised Division of Responsibilities’ usage of this title. The committee recommended this change be made to the Rules of Procedure and codified in a new resolution (Res. 21-04, Exhibit B).
