| | | | | | | | Background | The Health Care Authority provides funding to the Health District to oversee the Access to Baby and Child Dentistry (ABCD) program. This program connects parents who have Apple Health to a local dentist. The program also performs outreach to dentists to enroll them in the program to be able to accept new patients and increase dental care/access in Snohomish County.
This agreement (Exhibit A) was originally signed in 2018 and provided $43,000 per year from 2018 – 2021. With the latest contract extension (Exhibit B), HCA is increasing the annual amount by $2,074 for expansion of work, and $32,288 for outreach work for children of color and children ages 0-2, for a total of $77,362 from July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022. The total amount of the contract is $206,362. |
