The Health District did a round of media buys earlier this year. This was done with funds through ConCon Amendment #20 for tasks associated with communication strategies to support COVID vaccine efforts. The funding remains and staff are working towards another large round of media buys to run in November through January.
There will be four themes/target audiences for the campaigns:
- Parents/guardians of children eligible for vaccines
- People who need their second or booster doses
- People who have not been vaccinated yet, especially younger adults
- COVID vaccine + flu vaccine
Staff have talked with the Community Equity Advisory Board to get input and ideas that are being incorporated into the campaigns.
While the total is roughly $360,000, the individual contracts are all $10,000-46,000 each. Details are in Exhibit A. Materials will be co-branded with Snohomish County. Staff will collect analytics at the culmination of the campaigns as a deliverable for the funding.
