| | | | | | | | | Background | The District has utilized Snohomish County for vehicle maintenance services for over 30 years. Earlier this year, the District was contacted by the County to renew the existing agreement. The contract (Exhibit A) has been reviewed by legal counsel of the District with amendments accepted by legal counsel of the Snohomish County.
The interlocal agreement for this service has a term of five years, with an option to extend for an additional 5-year term. The District typically spends approximately $30,000 -$35,000 a year for vehicle maintenance. The total estimated cost of the agreement over its lifetime requires Board approval, per the Division of Responsibilities. Based on the level of service provided, staff recommend Board approval of the interlocal agreement with Snohomish County for vehicle maintenance. |
