Unrealized Gain or Loss on Investments – At the end of each year, Snohomish County provides the District with an analysis of unrealized gain or loss for the County’s investment pool. The inception-to-date unrealized loss is $11,013 for the pool as of December 31, 2021.   

Calendar Year Operations through January 31, 2022

Revenues – Actual revenues District-wide are 1.0% below projections at 7.3% with 8.3% of the year elapsed. Typically, revenues are above projections in January due to Food and other annual EH permits being billed for the year in January. However, the reduction in reported revenues is due to a delay in billing for federal and state grants. We expect revenues to increase in the upcoming months as we get caught up with billing.

Expenditures – Actual expenditures District-wide are 0.7% below projections at 7.6% with 8.3% of the year elapsed. This is generally in line with our expectations.
