Background

As part of the State’s consolidated contract, the Washington State Department of Health, has awarded the Health District the following funds:

Funds in the amount of $352,122 have been added for the period of January 1, 2022, through September 30, 2022. These funds are used for our home visits for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) and for some of our trauma and resilience work.

ELC COVID-19 Response. Funds in the amount of $44,632 were removed from the contract based on the amount spent prior to this amendment. The allocated amount left for the contract period of January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022, is $5,691,480. These funds can be used for COVID-response efforts.

Office of Immunization COVID-19 Vaccine. Funds in the amount of $2,069,953 have been added to our contract for the period of January 1, 2022, through June 30, 2024. This amendment adds a new funding line item. These funds can be used to engage the community in obtaining the COVID-19 vaccine/booster dose.  This work also funds our COVID-19 vaccine depot and allows for the District to house COVID-19 vaccine for providers who may be unable to store larger amounts of vaccine. These funds can also be used to provide COVID-19 vaccine.

Emergency Preparedness, Resilience & Response.  Funds in the amount of $78,676 have been added to our contract for a total amount of $131,504 for our Cities Readiness work. The contract period is January 1, 2022, through June 30, 2022. This revision adds remaining funds from the previous statement of work that ended December 31, 2021.

COVID-19 Mass Vaccination – FEMA. This amendment added in revised language for Task 1. The reimbursement period for mass vaccination efforts has been extended to July 1, 2022. The District is able to submit reimbursement requests to FEMA for any COVID mass-vaccination efforts that we or our contracted partners have done.
