Snohomish County Code Section 2.300.090 states: "There is hereby established a Snohomish county board of health, as directed by RCW 70.05.035. The board of health shall annually elect a chair and vice chair from its membership in January of each year. The chair shall be one of the county councilmembers and shall preside at the meetings of the board of health."

The floor will be opened to Board members to place a nomination for their nominee or nominees for Board Chair, then Vice Chair. Election of Chair and Vice Chair will be made by roll-call vote of the full Board.
